DEPOSIT One-day Craft Tour in Tambasasayama

It's a special craft tour guided by Yoshi, an English-speaking guide who lives in Tanba sasayama, a place of natural beauty. 

The concept of this tour is a tour of the suburbs that can be reached rather easily from Kyoto, so it is designed to pick you up at a hotel in Kyoto. Local meeting is also possible. (In that case, the price will be discounted by 25%.)

Estimated time required is from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (including pick-up and drop-off). Craft studios in Tambasasayama are not open every day, and some are not open to the public; Yoshi can arrange visits to these studios and plan an efficient one-day visit.

Tambasasayama is a town rich in nature with a population of 40,000 that can be reached in less than two hours by car from Kyoto. There you will find the ruins of Sasayama Castle, built more than 400 years ago, and you can enjoy the historical townscape. Not many people know this, but there is actually a movement of cool artists who are renovating old private houses in this town to create studios and galleries.

 It is also still famous for its ceramics as the birthplace of Tamba-yaki pottery, which has a history of over 800 years.

 Itinerary activities:
・Three or four artisan studio visits (Hands-on workshop if you wish)
・Lunch at a specially selected local restaurant
・A little sightseeing in Tambasasayama

・Creating a customized itinerary for you to visit some craft studios

￥100,000/person 
Later, we will charge you 90,000 yen, which is the total amount minus this deposit.

・This tour can basically be organized with a minimum of 2 participants.
・This is a private tour, minimum of 2 people, maximum of 4 people in a group.
・The artists at the craft studio will adjust their schedule for you from the booking stage. Please do not cancel at the last minute unless it is unavoidable.
・This is a deposit of 10,000 yen required at the start of the booking stage.
